Henna?

Right, one of the Religious education teachers in the school is absolutely lovely. Mrs Humble (I know, she sounds like a teacher in simpsons or something) but she is so lovely. And not long ago, there was a 1st year/buddy (6th year) day. And one of the things involved was doing fake henna. Just with face paints but the traditional patterns, drawings and shapes. So, I gave it a good bash...it was pretty bad :(. But, I went to see her not long after, and I asked her where she got her proper henna from (She is really interested in other cultures) and told me I could have some. So, she gave me maybe, a wee handful of it, and for ages I hadn't tried it. And yesterday, out of pure boredom I did. Nothing traditional or outrageously complicated, but i tried it, I drew a little heart on my hand where I one day want a tattoo (not sure what). So, I paintedf that on and left it to dry, and before the colour could really stay, the dry henna had crumbled of. But, overnight, the colour has totally intensified, now it's the colour of skin birth marks you know? It's really cute though. Really wanted to share that. Will definately be sing that henna more often and investing in more when its gone.

Talking about tattoos, I was sitting watching miami ink on youtube last night, the Tattoo studio in Miami run by Ami, Chris Garver, Chris Nunez, Darren Brass and the apprentice Yogi something (I can't for the life of me spell his second name, so I'm not even gonna attempt it). And just watching how they deal with the customers and how some of the people that go in have got really personal stories and how the tattooist, helps them get through whatever it is, if its a loss in the family, illness in the family, new stage in life, moving on you know. It's just such an amazing thing to be doing. I can still see myself turning out as a tattooist because it's 2 things I like in one, spending time with people and art. But we'll see...take things one step at a time. But while I was watching it, I was thinking about getting my first tattoo and how truly excited I am. I mean, it was a big deal for me a few years ago, to get a tattoo, and now, becaue I'm 18, the novelty of being able to get one is wearing of. But I'm sure when I've got it I'll brag about it to anyone who will listen. I already have been asked to film a few bits and because Ben is gonna be there holding my hand he said he would :) So, I will have tattoo footage! Yay! Can't wait, 7th of August :D

Gonna go just now though, got things to be doing.
Love you all
